Chinaman Long Beach
Chinaman Long Beach is a sandy beach in the remote, protected coastal setting of northern Wilsons Promontory. Its long shoreline, native vegetation and remnants of a historic Chinese fishing camp give the place a strong wilderness and heritage character. The northern walking network via Lower Barry Creek includes demanding class-5 routes and sections retained as marked routes only. A visit therefore calls for experienced planning and careful assessment of changing coastal conditions.
