About this beach
Sai Kaew Beach lies within a Royal Thai Navy area near the Naval Ratings School in Sattahip, and military control has kept it comparatively undisturbed. The beach runs for about 600 m, with very fine white sand and many trees offering shade, and faces west-northwest over the Gulf of Thailand. Access is controlled by the navy and an entry fee is charged.
