Ao Dong Tan is a curving beach on Sattahip Bay that stretches from the edge of Sattahip town into the Royal Thai Navy fleet base. The sandy stretch lies inside the base, so visitors pass a checkpoint and should carry ID. Its name refers to the tall palmyra palms along the shore. Used mostly by local families, the quiet bay is also a sailing venue and hosted the sailing events of the 2025 SEA Games.
