About this beach
Jomtien Beach stretches for roughly six kilometres south of Pratumnak Hill, which separates it from central Pattaya. The sand is backed by a tree-shaded walkway and a beach road lined with accommodation, shops and restaurants, served by songthaews. Buoy lines keep swimming areas apart from jet skis, and windsurfing and parasailing are popular. The mood is calmer than on Pattaya Beach.
