About this beach

Laem Talumphuk is a narrow sand spit curving out into the Gulf of Thailand north of Pak Phanang. Its Gulf-facing shore is a long sand beach lined with casuarina trees, with seafood restaurants near the village and a road leading out towards the tip of the cape. The cape is remembered for Tropical Storm Harriet, which devastated it in October 1962.
