About this beach

Ao Thong Yang is a small east-facing bay at the foot of Khao Phlai Dam, the coastal hill on the border between Khanom and Sichon, with a strip of pale sand about 800 m long. A road ends beside a resort just behind the beach, and a forest trail links the bay with Ao Thong Yee to the north. Waves can build during the north-east monsoon, so local conditions should be checked.
