Yarra Bay

Yarra Bay sits on the northern side of Botany Bay in Phillip Bay, about seven kilometres south of central Sydney. The south-west-facing bay has a sandy beach, grassy foreshore and the Yarra Bay Sailing Club beside one end, giving the shoreline a relaxed local character. Council facilities include toilets, accessible toilets, parking and a beach access mat extending towards the high-tide mark from the shower area. The beach is unpatrolled, so swimmers should assess conditions carefully, especially with children.
