Congwong Bay

Congwong Bay is a sheltered, sandy beach at La Perouse on the Botany Bay side of Sydney, set within Kamay Botany Bay National Park. The beach is reached from the southern end of Cann Park by a roughly 100-metre path with steps, while parking is available in the park area and public toilets and shops are nearby. Its generally calm water suits swimming, picnicking and snorkelling, and rocky outcrops at either end add interest for fishing and shoreline exploring. The beach is unpatrolled, so conditions should be judged carefully; the stepped approach is not wheelchair accessible.
