Coogee Beach

Coogee Beach is a sandy urban beach on Sydney’s eastern coast, partly sheltered by Wedding Cake Island. It sits on the Bondi-to-Coogee Coastal Walk and is surrounded by ocean pools including Giles Baths, Ross Jones Memorial Baths and nearby Wylie’s Baths. Toilets, showers, change rooms, parking, picnic and barbecue areas, a fenced playground and cafés make it well equipped for a full beach day. The sheltered setting suits family swimming, but the shore break can be dangerous, so conditions should be assessed before entering the water.
