Bondi Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Bondi Beach is an iconic, broad sandy city beach on Sydney’s eastern coast. The adjoining park and promenade provide useful visitor amenities, including a playground, outdoor exercise area, barbecues, toilets, food and beverage outlets, parking nearby and an outdoor shower. Bondi has a strong surf culture, but waves and rip currents can vary, so swimmers should use designated areas and follow local advice. The children’s pool at the northern end adds a more protected option beside the beach.
