Turimetta Beach

Turimetta Beach is an approximately 400-metre sandy beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, set between Turimetta Headland and Narrabeen Headland. A minor dune, steep hillside and small bluff give the shore a notably natural backdrop. The beach can suit swimming and bodyboarding, while the northern end offers stronger surfing breaks. It is unpatrolled, and waves break close to shore with a sometimes heavy shore break; rips commonly form at both ends and among the rocks. There are no facilities, so visitors should arrive prepared and assess conditions carefully.
