Trousers Point Beach

Trousers Point Beach sits on the west coast of Flinders Island within Strzelecki National Park, where white sand, shallow clear water and granite headlands create a distinctive Bass Strait setting. It is suited to swimming, photography, fishing and an easy coastal outing, with a 2 km circuit leading toward Fotheringate Beach and its caves and rock formations. Road access leads to a day-use area with parking, picnic tables, barbecues and public toilets, while camping is available nearby; the beach is unpatrolled, so children need close supervision and conditions should be judged on the day. A parks pass is required for entry.
