Allports Beach

Allports Beach is a quiet sandy beach near Emita on the north-west coast of Flinders Island. It sits between dune-covered granite points, with boulders at the eastern end and a broad natural outlook across the coast. The nearby day-use area has parking, toilets, picnic tables and a shaded gas barbecue, while visitors are advised to bring their own drinking water. Swimming, snorkelling and kayaking are popular ways to enjoy the shore when conditions permit, but the beach is unpatrolled and wind and wave conditions can change.
