Tamarama Beach
- Surf spot
Tamarama Beach is a short, flat sandy beach between sandstone headlands on Sydney’s Bondi to Coogee coastal-walk route. The park behind it has a kiosk, barbecues, sheltered picnic areas, toilets and a children’s playground, while on-street parking is limited. Surf conditions are described as fickle and often dangerous, with rips at both sides of the bay. Tamarama Beach attracts surfers, but families with young children should assess the conditions carefully before swimming.
