Snug Beach
- Family friendly
Snug Beach is a sheltered sandy shoreline at the mouth of the Snug River, beside the coastal town of Snug south of Hobart. It is used for swimming, family picnics, launching boats and kayaking, with grassy foreshore space for relaxing. Parking, BBQ facilities and a kayak rack are available near the beach. Sharp oyster shells at the river mouth can injure swimmers and kayakers, so care is needed around that area.
