Blackmans Bay Beach
- Family friendly
Blackmans Bay Beach is a sandy shore in the coastal suburb of Blackmans Bay south of Hobart, curving between rocky headlands. Access runs along Ocean Esplanade, with a foreshore park, parking, picnic and BBQ facilities, a children’s playground and nearby public toilets, making the setting convenient for family outings and relaxed coastal recreation. A rip-warning sign marks a localised hazard at the northern end, so visitors should pay attention to beach signage and conditions before entering the water.
