Fort Beach

Fort Beach occupies a sandy, south-west-facing stretch of Seacroft Bay near South Arm. The position of Cape Deliverance and Bruny Island reduces swell reaching the beach from the Derwent direction, although coastal conditions can still change. Access is through Blessington Street Reserve, and walking is the main activity identified for the site. The beach forms part of a natural coastal area managed by Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.
