Cloudy Beaches

Cloudy Beaches is a remote white-sand coastal stretch within South Bruny National Park. After the vehicle and passenger ferry from Kettering to Bruny Island, visitors follow Cloudy Bay Road to the beach access and parking area at the road end. The waves attract surfers, while the Cloudy Corner section requires a 4WD journey of about 3 km along the beach at low tide. Nesting shorebirds use the beach in spring and summer, so visitors are asked to walk on the wet sand during that period. Nearby campgrounds provide basic pit toilets.
