Silver Beach
Silver Beach is an approximately 2.8-kilometre sandy beach on the southern shore of Botany Bay at Kurnell. A netted swimming area in the middle of the beach is the main focus for bathing in the bay, but it is not patrolled by lifeguards. Parking is available, with a cafe and newsagent nearby. Walking, snorkelling and fishing are common activities, while Kamay Botany Bay National Park and the Captain Cook landing-place heritage area add historical and natural context.
