Roaring Beach

Roaring Beach is a prominent south-west-facing surf beach on the western side of the Tasman Peninsula, backed by broad sand dunes. From west of Nubeena, Roaring Beach Road ends at a car park, followed by a short trail over the dunes to the beach and adjoining conservation area. The coast can be wild, windy and wave-exposed, with strong rips making swimming and surfing activities that require careful judgment. Its natural setting also makes it worthwhile for walking and coastal exploration.
