Red Beach
Red Beach is an approximately 372-metre sandy beach on the south-eastern coast of Great Keppel Island. Great Keppel Island is reached by boat from Rosslyn Bay on the Capricorn Coast in about 30 minutes and offers day visits, walking trails and numerous white-sand beaches. Red Beach forms part of a coast with notable natural scenery and sensitive cultural heritage values. Its island setting means transport, weather and sea conditions need to be planned carefully.
