Nine Mile Beach
Nine Mile Beach is a sandy, natural coastline stretching for approximately 12.99 kilometres along Queensland’s Capricorn Coast. Within Byfield National Park, it is used for walking, swimming, fishing and exploring the coastal dunes. Access requires a high-clearance 4WD or boat; the camping areas have no facilities, and crocodile and marine-stinger warnings apply, so visitors should arrive well prepared.
