Dawson Beach
Dawson Beach is a long, quieter sandy shoreline on Queensland’s Mackay coast, set within the natural coastal landscape around Ince Bay. The wider area includes shallow marine waters, intertidal mudflats, sandy shores and mangrove-lined estuarine creeks, giving it a more remote character than an urban beach. It suits quiet coastal exploration more than a facilities-led beach day. Remoteness, tides and changing shoreline conditions should be considered when planning a visit.
