Queenscliff Beach is a sandy, open-ocean beach at the northern headland of Sydney’s Manly Beach. It is about a ten-minute walk from Manly Wharf, and a rocky headland tunnel links the shore with Freshwater Beach; the route is only walkable at low tide. A 50-metre rock pool occupies the northern end, while nearby visitor facilities include a cafe, car park, picnic area and public toilet. The beach is known for powerful offshore bombora waves, making it attractive to surfers but requiring careful judgement of changing surf and current conditions.
