Parker's Beach
Parker's Beach is a small sandy shore on the Norfolk Bay coast near Koonya. It can be reached on foot from nearby settlement areas and is described locally as a quiet place used for summer swimming. The beach lies within the Norfolk Bay Conservation Area, where the foreshore environment supports breeding shorebirds. Seasonal dog-leash rules apply, and visitors should keep clear of bird habitat while walking along the coast. Rather than an exposed ocean surf beach, Parker's Beach has the character of a bay-side cove, although swimming conditions can still change and should be checked before entering the water.
