North Steyne Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
North Steyne Beach is the central sandy section of Manly’s famous two-kilometre ocean shoreline. Framed by Norfolk pines, the broad beach has a strong surf heritage linked to the world’s first surfing contest in 1964. Its long promenade is used for walking, jogging, rollerblading and cycling, while nearby facilities include parking, public toilets, food outlets and family-friendly amenities. Ocean conditions can change, so swimmers should follow beach signs and local warnings.
