Newport Beach

Newport Beach is a 1.3-kilometre sandy beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, curving gently from Newport Head to Little Reef and its sandstone reef. The open coast supports swimming, body surfing and established breaks, with stronger shorebreaks possible at times. Parking, toilets, showers, cafés, a children’s playground and access to Newport Rockpool make the foreshore convenient for families. Conditions vary along the beach, so swimmers should watch the shorebreak and follow local beach guidance.
