Moffat Beach
- Surf spot
Moffat Beach is a sandy Caloundra shoreline between Moffat Head and Tooway Lake, backed by cafés, green parks and a relaxed coastal village atmosphere. The southern point can produce a peeling right-hand wave in high swell, giving the beach a recognised surf character. A coastal pathway links it with Shelly Beach, while the nearby park offers a shaded playground, picnic areas, parking, beach showers and public toilets. The beach is unpatrolled, so visitors should take care with changing waves and currents.
