Coolum Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Coolum Beach is a broad sandy ocean beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, known for its soft white sand, swimming, walking and established surf. A coastal boardwalk follows the foreshore towards Point Perry, adding scenic viewpoints and easy strolling beside the beach. Tickle Park provides nearby parking, public toilets, showers, picnic facilities and a playground, while restaurants, cafés and takeaway outlets are close to the beachfront. The main beach is described as family-friendly and patrolled year-round, but surf and swimming conditions can change, so visitors should check local signs before entering the water.
