Malabar Beach

Malabar Beach is a sandy, generally calm cove on Sydney’s south-eastern coast, protected from much of the ocean swell. A rock pool sits on the southern foreshore and a boat ramp on the northern side, while Cromwell Park behind the beach provides a children’s playground, public toilets, showers and change rooms. Calm conditions support swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking and coastal walks, and two shipwrecks in the bay attract divers. The beach may be unpatrolled, so check local advice before entering the water.
