Long Reef Beach

Long Reef Beach is a broad sandy surf beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, beside Long Reef Headland. Reef breaks create both left- and right-hand waves, while the beach is also used for swimming, bodyboarding, boardriding and windsurfing. The adjoining headland and aquatic reserve add rocky platforms, marine habitats and coastal walking to the beach experience. Open-ocean swell and changing conditions around the reef call for care in the water and near rocks.
