Hayes Street Beach
Hayes Street Beach is a small sandy beach of about 50 metres beside the Hayes Street ferry wharf in Neutral Bay, Sydney Harbour. A narrow lane from Hayes Street leads to this tucked-away stretch behind residential buildings. It is used for swimming, relaxing and launching small craft, including community kayaks. Because the beach is unpatrolled and next to an active wharf, swimmers should remain aware of nearby boats and harbour traffic.
