Caseys Beach
Caseys Beach is an approximately 850-metre, low-gradient sandy pocket beach near Batehaven, facing east between Observation Head and Sunshine Bay. A rock revetment borders much of the foreshore, while reefs at both ends help moderate wave exposure; Short Beach Creek reaches the sea at the southern corner. Public access is provided by stairs, with parking at both ends and toilets near the northern access. The narrow shore and waves overtopping the seawall in rough conditions call for care around high water and changing surf.
