Broulee Beach

Broulee Beach is a long, sandy South Coast shoreline near Batemans Bay, sheltered in part by Broulee Island and backed by coastal vegetation. Its gradually deepening beach creates gentler swimming areas, while the open coast also attracts surfers, walkers, anglers and snorkellers. Candlagan Creek and the island nature reserve add a distinctive natural setting; the nearby village offers refreshments, and the beach access includes a car park and public toilet. Ocean conditions can change, so swimmers should choose their area carefully.
