Bherwerre Beach

Bherwerre Beach is a long, south-facing ocean beach of sand in Booderee National Park, stretching for about seven kilometres between the Cave Beach area and Sussex Inlet. Visitors can reach it from the Cave Beach car park via a trail around Ryans Swamp—about 900 metres one way—or follow a longer loop across the dunes. The open coast is used for swimming, surfing and long walks, and the wetland supports waterbird watching; no lifeguard supervision is provided, so conditions deserve care.
