Bateau Bay Beach lies in the southern section of Wyrrabalong National Park, where a sandy shoreline meets protected coastal bushland. The park supports swimming, fishing, coastal walking, birdwatching and surfing opportunities, with sandy beaches alternating with rocky cliffs. A picnic area, playground, toilets, parking and beach access serve day visitors, while the Coast walking track leads towards Crackneck Point lookout and Forresters Beach.
