Avoca Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Avoca Beach is an established sandy ocean beach on the Central Coast, with a long shoreline framed by headlands and a rock pool at the southern end. The adjacent Avoca Lagoon creates a contrasting landscape and is used for calmer activities such as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The open coast is popular for swimming, walking and surfing, with options suited to both beginners and experienced surfers. Parking, toilets, a kiosk, café, playground and picnic areas support day visits, while waves and currents can vary along the exposed shoreline.
