Tung Tuk Beach is a quiet stretch of Koh Kho Khao’s long sandy west coast, facing south-west over the Andaman Sea. About 2 km east, across the island near the mouth of the Takua Pa River, lies the Thung Tuek archaeological site of an ancient trading port, where building remains, Chinese ceramics and beads have been found. A few resorts sit behind the sand.
