About this beach

Ao Chong Khad is the landing beach of Mu Ko Surin National Park, on the south shore of Ko Surin Nuea beside the park headquarters and pier. Its fine white sand faces the narrow channel to Ko Surin Tai and becomes very wide at low tide. Strong tidal currents can run through the channel as the tide rises and falls, so keep well away from it; the park closes in the rainy season.
