Siam Beach lines Ao Siam on the north coast of Koh Racha Yai and is the widest stretch of sand on the island, with a resort set behind it. It sees fewer day boats than Patok Bay. Shallow reefs of staghorn and soft coral begin close to shore, and at very low tide much of the coral is exposed, so it should not be walked on. Boats to the island leave from Chalong.
