Chalong Beach is a long, narrow strip of shore on the western side of Chalong Bay in Phuket’s southeast, running south from the busy Chalong Pier area. The bay is a working anchorage where many boats are moored and diving and fishing trips depart. The bottom is muddy, so the shore suits bay views and the nearby seafood restaurants better than a swim.
