About this beach
Ao Yon Beach is a quiet, palm-lined shore on Cape Panwa in south-east Phuket, made up of two neighbouring bays joined by a rocky path that is easiest to cross at low tide. A few simple eateries and low-key beach clubs line the waterfront, massages are offered on the beach, and longtails can be hired for trips to nearby islands, Koh Kai among them. The entrance is easy to miss, and visitors park on the main road.
