About this beach
Banana Beach is a small cove of soft sand on Phuket’s northwest coast, between Nai Thon and Bang Tao, shaded by tall palms. The rocks at both ends offer snorkelling. Access is from a car park at the north end, where there are toilets, showers and a beach club; a long-running local restaurant stands further along the sand. Waves grow stronger and debris can wash up in the low season.
