About this beach
Saan Jao Beach is a small, quiet beach on the western edge of Chalok Baan Kao Bay in southern Koh Tao. It looks across the bay to Hin Taa Toh, the Buddha Rock landmark on the eastern cape, and nearby View Point Rock is a rewarding snorkelling spot. It is about a ten-minute walk from the main Chalok beach, along a route that shows the bay’s local fishing life.
