About this beach
Chalok Baan Kao Bay is a curving sandy beach on Koh Tao’s south coast and the island’s third-largest beach, backed by a small village of hotels, dive schools, restaurants and bars. The sand slopes gently into shallow water, with views towards Koh Phangan and Koh Samui and the Buddha Rock on the eastern cape. The atmosphere is more relaxed than at Sairee.
