About this beach

Puek Tian Beach lies between Cha-am and Chao Samran, about 21 km from Phetchaburi town. It is known for its statues of characters from Sunthorn Phu’s epic poem Phra Aphai Mani, including a giant sea ogress standing in the water. The white-sand beach is not very wide; it is generally quiet and rarely crowded, with restaurants, shops and accommodation nearby.
