About this beach

Phra Thong Bay is a sheltered sandy bay at the north-west tip of Koh Phra Thong, separated from the island's long west beach by Hornbill Hill. Its calm, shallow water is used for kayaking and paddleboarding, and the small wooded Koh Pling islets sit just offshore. A few eco-lodges line the shore, with a beach bar, toilets and a shower at the western end. Longtails from Kuraburi take about 1 to 1.5 hours.
