Pakarang Beach runs along the south-western side of Cape Pakarang in Khao Lak, within Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park. Shady rows of casuarina trees line the shore, and the sand is strewn with fragments of broken staghorn coral. The cape is a favoured place to watch the sunset and has several surf breaks, while small restaurants and resorts sit behind the beach.
