About this beach
Mango Bay lies at the northern tip of Koh Tao and is named after the mango trees that once grew here. A small sandy beach is flanked by coral reefs on both sides, and the sandy seabed gives the often calm, clear water a turquoise tint; the bay is also used for beginner dive training. The steep, narrow, partly unpaved road suits only experienced riders and land entry is charged; the bay is easiest reached by boat.
