About this beach

Mae Haad Beach is a sandy strip in Mae Haad Bay, Koh Tao’s port town, running south-west from the ferry piers towards the Sensi Paradise resort. Restaurants, dive shops and guesthouses sit close behind it. A wreck that sank in 1962 lies off the south end of the bay and draws snorkellers. Boat traffic near the piers calls for care in the water.
